Audi R8 e-tron series production version

Audi R8 etron is an electric car launcy Audi in 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show[1]

The concept car of Audi R8 etron was first displayed in 2009 Frankfort Show. In 2010 the proposed plan of limited production of R8 etron was put on hold.[2][3] Production of the 10 first road-ready prototypes reportedly cost over €1 million each.[4]

Audi R8 etron production car launched in 2015 is fitted with two electric motors mounted on the rear wheels delivering 456 bhp and 678 lb ft of torque.[5] The battery pack is T Shaped 92kWh Lithium-ion. R8 etron perform 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 125 mph. R8 etron driving range is 280 miles. The curb weight of the car is 1780 kg.[6]

R8 etron is a limited production vehicle, and will only be made-to-order. [7]
