Aurul Brad is a football club based in Liga IV, Hunedoara, Romania.[1] First formed in 1934 under the name Mica Brad, the team played their home matches in Hunedoara at a grounds with a 1,500 seat capacity. Throughout its 80 years Aurul Brad has also been known as "Metal Brad".

In 1940–41 Aurul Brad played in the Liga I, the first league of Romania. This was a notable achievement for such a small town in Romania, and the team finished in 5th place out of 13 teams.
