Australasian Psychiatry is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes papers in the field of Psychiatry. The journal's editor is Professor Garry Walter. It is currently published by SAGE Publications on behalf of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

Scope

Australasian Psychiatry aims to promote psychiatry and the maintenance of excellent standards in practice. The journal publishes original research; reviews; descriptions of innovative services; comments on policy, history, politics, economics, training, ethics and the Arts as they relate to mental health and mental health services; statements of opinion; case reports, letters and commissioned book reviews. A section of Australasian Psychiatry provides information on RANZCP business and related matters.
