The third wave of migration came in during the [[Cold War]], when immigrants came to [[Canada]] from the Soviet Union, including the [[Azeris]]. The fourth wave took place after [[1979]], when [[Iran]] had a [[revolution]]. Many ethnic Iranians as well as Azerbaijanis, settled in Canada.
