BELMA is a Polish defence company located in Białe Błota. It is one of the oldest industrial plants in Poland.
History
Its business activity began in 1868. It started from a locksmith company that produced devices for rail industry, motorization, defence industry, mining industry and also served other industrial services. Its primary responsibility nowadays is production and design [1] of land mines (according to Ottawa Treaty - only anti-tank mines[2][3] can be produced) for the Polish Army. BELMA is the only manufacturer of anti-tank mines in Poland.
Founded in 1868, it currently employs 233 people.
Since 2010, BELMA has been a member of Division Ammunition of BUMAR GROUP.
