Babul Datta (born 11 January 1956) is a former Indian cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and right-arm off-break bowler who played for Tripura. He was born in Agartala.

Datta made a single first-class appearance for the team, during the 1986-87 season, against Assam. From the lower-middle order, he scored 25 runs in the first innings in which he batted, and 18 runs in the second, and in spite of these substantial contributions to what became an innings defeat to Tripura, did not bat again for the side.
