The Bangla Language and Literary Society, Singapore (BLLS) was established in 1994 with the goal to teach Bangla (Bengali) language to younger generations who grew up in Singapore.[1] Till now this society has been working to promote Bangla language and literature in Singapore and giving formal lessons to the school-going children. Beside the school activities the BLLS society organized many cultural activities like annual cultural program, picnic and celebrate the International Mother Language Day.[2]
