Barbara M. Terhal is a theoretical physicist. She is the lead researcher of the Terhal Group at the Institute of Theoretical Nanoelectronics at the Peter Grünberg Institute in Jülich and Professor at the Institute for Quantum Information at RWTH Aachen University.[3]
Career
Terhal is most notable for her research on the detection of Quantum entanglement, and coining the term Entanglement witness.[4]
