Bargów [ˈbarɡuf] (German: Bergen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Torzym, within Sulęcin County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) south-west of Torzym, 27 km (17 mi) south-west of Sulęcin, 53 km (33 mi) north-west of Zielona Góra, and 59 km (37 mi) south-west of Gorzów Wielkopolski.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II). After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.
