Barry Stowe (born 1957) is an American business executive, the chairman and CEO of Jackson National Life, a Lansing, Michigan-based US life insurance company with US$218 billion in assets in 2015, and a subsidiary of Prudential plc.
Early life
Stowe is a seventh-generation Nashvillian.[1] He graduated from Lipscomb Academy in 1975, and from Lipscomb University with degree in politics in 1979. He was honored as Lipscomb's Alumnus of the Year in 2009.
Career
Stowe was CEO of Prudential Corporation Asia from October 2006 to June 2015. He ws named Chairman and CEO of Jackson effective June 1, 2015. He has served on the Board of Directors and Group Executive Committee of Prudential plc since October 2006.[2]
Personal life
He is married to Sherri Stewart Stowe, and they have three daughters.
