Barucboc is a barangay situated at the southernmost part of Quezon, Isabela.

Name

It has been famous for its name Nursery as it served as the planting ground of the entire town.

History

Barucboc's name originated from a mythical boiling lake located in the center of the barangay. Local inhabitants interpreted the name as Barecbec (an Ilokano word), and since then there have been variations on the name, but Barucboc won the hearts of the first settlers.

Recent Developments

It is the largest town in Barangay based on population.
