Beşiktaş J.K. financially capitalised by the successful transfers-out of Beşiktaş U-21 alumni including Nihat Kahveci, Serdar Özkan, Batuhan Karadeniz, İbrahim Kaş, Cumali Bişi and Atınç Nukan.

History

Team had started their operations as the amateur squad in 1950s. Beşiktaş, as one of the participants of Balkans Cup in 1963–64 version, requested the officials to play two away games with a day deficit in between, whereas it had been realized that it was not possible for the team to play two matches in two days.[6] Therefore A2 team had been tasked for the encounter in Tirane to represent the team on senior level against Albanian side KS Dinamo Tirana.[6] The match ended 2–0 in favour of home side.[7]

Achieved second spot in local championship in Istanbul under the management of Serpil Hamdi Tüzün, Beşiktaş Amateurs participated in Turkey Amateur Football Championship in 1985 and grasped the trophy. The success led team to compete in Turkish Cup in 1985–86 version in which they have been eliminated by the quarter finalists PTT (now known as Türk Telekom Gençlik Spor Kulübü) in 1st Round by the score 1–0. In 1988, they repeated the success and joined Turkish Cup once again, beaten Bayrampaşaspor by 3–0 in 1st Round and Zeytinburnuspor by penalties. Beşiktaş A2 drew Beşiktaş. The two-legged matches ended 4–0 and 5–1 respectively, in favour of the seniors.

In the second halve of 2008–09 season, Beşiktaş J.K. U-21 alumnus Sergen Yalçın managed the team on a 6-months-spell, with an undefeated tally.[8]

Beşiktaş J.K. Amatör competed in Istanbul Amateur League in 1st and 2nd tier levels, despite they achieved couple of championships, they could not achieve a major success in domestic scene. The team was renamed Beşiktaş J.K. PAF Takımı (shortly Beşiktaş PAF) in 1996 and joined PAF Ligi. Two times PAF Ligi crowned Beşiktaş PAF, was renamed Beşiktaş J.K. A2 (shortly Beşiktaş A2) in 2010–11 season start.

There are 19 players trained by Beşiktaş J.K. U-21 in 2014, in which 2 players played senior level for club and 17 were hired by other clubs.[9]
