Benešov is a village and municipality (obec) in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 13.61 square kilometres (5.25 sq mi), and has a population of 626 (as at 28 August 2006).

Benešov lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) north-east of Blansko, 38 km (24 mi) north of Brno, and 182 km (113 mi) east of Prague.
