Berkovo
Appearance
Berkovo (Serbian Cyrillic: Берково, Albanian: Berkovë) is a village in the Klina municipality, Kosovo. It had a Serbian majority before the Kosovo war. As the village was destroyed, houses were looted and demolished. A number of families have moved back there as well as other villages in recent years.[1] In 2008 there were some 40 Serbs from 33 families there.[2]
Population
No census has been held in Kosovo since 1991, so modern population data is not available. In 1998 the village had 70 Serbian households, one Albanian household and one Roma household.[citation needed]
