32°53′13″N 117°14′28″W / 32.887°N 117.241°W / 32.887; -117.241 The Beyster Institute was launched in 2002 at the Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego in order to advance the use of entrepreneurship and employee company ownership. The Beyster Institute began as the Foundation for Enterprise Development in 1986 by Dr. John Robert Beyster.[1]
