Bijoy Sankar Barman is an Assamese writer. He has been awarded with Yuva Puraskar by Sahitya Akademi.[1]

Works

  • He has compiled 32 poems in assamese language, which was then translated by Margus Lattik to Estonian language as 'Pisarateoja Ketetong'.[1]
  • He was the first one to translate the Tamil classic Kuruntokai to Assamese language. It was named as 'Kurundoheir Kabita' in Assamese.[1]
  • Ashokashtami (Won Yuva Puraskar award for this work)
