Binti is a 2015 science fiction novel written by Nnedi Okorafor.[1]
Binti won Best Novella at the 2016 Hugo Awards and won the Nebula Award for the same category earlier in 2016.[1][2]
Plot
The first member of the Himba community on Earth is accepted into a prestigious intergalactic university.[3]
Sequel
Two sequels have been announced, with the first, Binti: Home, intended for release in 2017.[4]
