Black Peaks (sometimes stylized as Black Peaks') is an English progressive rock band formed in 2012 in Brighton, England, under the name Shrine.[1][2] The group appeared on Guitar Hero Live's GHTV service in February 2016 after their song "Glass Built Castles" was added to the service.

Black Peaks have been described as progressive rock,[1][2][3][4][5] hardcore punk,[4][5] heavy metal,[1][5] math rock,[1][5] post-rock,[1][5] alternative rock[1] and sludge metal[5] and have been compared to the likes of Mastodon,[1][6] Oceansize,[1][6] System of a Down,[3] Muse,[3] Tool[3] and The Dillinger Escape Plan.[6]
