Blink FM is a local FM radio station which used to broadcast and ran by WYA to areas of South Buckinghamshire in the United Kingdom - areas of reception included High Wycombe, Hazlemere, Downley, Beaconsfield, Penn and the northern area of Marlow, but has now recently moved its station Aylesbury and acquired new ownership under MultiFlowTV

History

The station used to broadcast under a Restricted Service Licence on 87.9FM and 24/7 online. However, since the old ownership moved in early 2016, the station no longer broadcasts online but is set to start up again by the end of the years. In 2015 the team also held two separate and popular music events live to raise money to buy new equipment for the station.[1]

Technical Information

Blink FM's studio is based in Aylesbury, also the home of MultiFlowTV. The team use high quality mixing desks and microphones to present the show, aided by Myriad studio playlist software to cue the music.

When the station is live

When the station is live, presenters at WYA present their own shows, normally in two hour sessions. When there are no live shows on, whilst broadcasting, the station will be put on an automatic playlist to supply 24/7 music.
