Blocky Bot is an 2.5D Platform video game, developed by Mobot Studios. the game launched on May 21, 2015 in North America and July 23, 2015 in Europe[1][2][3]

Gameplay

Blocky Bot is an endless 2D platformer. The player controls a selected Blocky Bot character and maneuvers the character through the level as quickly as possible. Collecting the game's in-game currency allows for unlocking additional characters.

Development

Blocky Bot was first revealed in February 2015,[4] by developers Mobot Studios, who had previously released Paper Monsters Recut on the Wii U eShop.[5]

Reception

Blocky Bot has received mixed reviews. 8WorldNews.com gave the game an 4/10, liking the graphics and music more than the gameplay.[6] Nintendo World Report gave the game an 4/10 as well, praising the game's controls but criticizing the lack of a leaderboard and the method for unlocking new characters.[5] Gamegravy gave the game an 6/10 liked the music and unlocking addition characters[7][unreliable source?] with NintendoLife gave the game an 8/10.[8]
