The blue finch or yellow-billed blue finch (Porphyrospiza caerulescens) is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae. Sometimes classified in the bunting and American sparrow family Emberizidae, a recent study[citation needed] has shown it to belong in the Thraupidae. It in the monotypic genus Porphyrospiza.[citation needed]

It is found in Bolivia and Brazil. Its natural habitat is dry savanna. It is becoming rare due to habitat loss.
