Bo Koster (born August 22, 1974) is the keyboard player and background vocalist for the rock band My Morning Jacket.

Early life

Koster grew up in Lakewood, Ohio, a city in the Greater Cleveland Metropolitan Area. He attended Lakewood High, Cleveland Institute of Music and Berklee College of Music.[1]

Career

Prior to joining My Morning Jacket, Koster worked as an associate and segment producer for several television documentaries, including Modern Marvels and Haunted History.[2]

Koster has also collaborated with, among others, Laura Viers, Neko Case, Carl Broemel, City & Colour and Sam Outlaw. In 2010, he co-produced Delta Spirit’s History from Below.[3]

Personal life

Koster is an avid basketball fan, especially of his hometown team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.[4] He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
