Robert George Stainton (23 May 1910 – 15 August 2000) was an English cricketer active from 1932 to 1949 who played for Sussex. He was born in Whitstable and died in Hastings. He appeared in 61 first-class matches as a righthanded batsman who bowled right-arm slow. He scored 2,330 runs with a highest score of 89 and took one wickets with a best performance of one for 12.[1]
