This is an old revision of this page, as edited by Declanscottp (talk | contribs) at 18:30, 27 July 2018 (removed notability tag, seems pretty clear does not belong, well known and pioneering political figure). Idotha "Bootsie" Neal is a politician and developer in Dayton, Ohio, USA, and a member of the Democratic Party. In 1991, she became the first black woman elected to Dayton's city commission, on which she served until 2004. Since then she has worked on redevelopment of Dayton's historic urban neighborhoods.[1] She served until 2014 as president of an organization dedicated to Wright-Dunbar, the historical Dayton neighborhood that was the site of the Wright Brothers' bicycle shop and the African American poet Paul Laurence Dunbar.[2]
