Borophryne apogon, the Netdevil, or Greedy Seadevil, is a species of leftvent known today from the waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean off the Central American coast. It is found at a depth of around 1,750 metres (5,740 ft). This species grows to a length of 8.3 centimetres (3.3 in) TL. A fossil of B. apogon and one of the related Linophryne indica were found in Late Miocene strata of Los Angeles.[1]
