Boy Edgar, 1964

George Willem Fred "Boy" Edgar (March 31, 1915, Amsterdam - April 8, 1980, Amsterdam) was a Dutch jazz pianist, trumpeter, and bandleader.

He died of multiple sclerosis; the Boy Edgar Prijs (formerly the Wessel Ilcken Prijs) was renamed in his honor in 1980.
