Boyeria is a genus of dragonfly in family Aeshnidae, commonly called Spotted Darners. They occur in temperate North America and Eurasia.[1]
The name Boyeria commemorates the French entymologist Etienne Laurent Joseph Hippolyte Boyer de Fonscolombe[2]
