Brachycephalus pernix is a species of frog in the Brachycephalidae family endemic to Brazil; it is known from Morro do Anhangava and Morretes, Paraná and occurs at 450 meters above sea level. It is thought to occur more widespread than currently known.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss for logging, cattle pasture, agriculture such as sugar cane, coffee and exotic trees and, in certain areas, by intense tourism. Its entire range has been named as a protected area and is listed on the state's list of threatened species.
