Bradley Paul Walker (born 25 April 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for National League club Wrexham, on loan from League Two club Crewe Alexandra.[3]

Career

Walker was born in Billingham, County Durham.[1] He began his career with Hartlepool United and signed a professional contract with the club in July 2013.[4][5] He made his Football League debut on 3 August 2013 in a 3–0 defeat away at Rochdale.[6]

Walker scored his first career goal in a 1–1 draw against Burton Albion in December 2013.[7]

His form saw him nominated for the League Two Apprentice of the Year Award at the 2014 Football League Awards with Jack Whatmough and Ben Purrington. Walker won the award one day after scoring in a 4–0 win for Hartlepool against Bristol Rovers.[8]

In January 2016, Walker played as a triallist in a Wolverhampton Wanderers U-21's match against Aston Villa.[9]

On 4 July 2017, Walker signed a two-year deal to join Crewe Alexandra.[3] He scored his first Crewe goal, against Rotherham United in an FA Cup first round tie at Gresty Road, on 4 November 2017,[10] and his first league goal for Crewe, against Grimsby Town, at Gresty Road on 1 January 2018.[11]

On 30 August 2018, Walker joined Wrexham on a six-month loan.[12]

International career

Walker was called up for an England under-18s training camp in November 2013[13] and again in December 2013.[14]
