Branford High School is a public high school in Branford, Connecticut. It currently has about 1,250 students in grades 9-12. One aspect of the school is its Senior Exhibition program. Every student must complete a thorough research project on a topic of his or her choice during his or her senior year. It is to be presented in front of the community when completed, and graded by a panel of judges on a 1-5 scale (3 and up is passing).

Former principal, Dr. Edmund Higgins, retired at the end of the 2007-2008 school year. During his tenure, Higgins was instrumental in the school's adoption of performance graduation requirements. All students must satisfy 13 performance graduation requirements or PGRs in areas such as writing, non-fiction reading, mathematical problem solving, and scientific concepts.

The current principal is Lee Panagoulias Jr.

According to the latest Strategic School Profile, 86.6 percent of Branford students in the class of 2006 took the SAT test. Of those taking it, the average Math score was 505, Critical Reading was 513, and Writing was 514.1

Major League ball player Steve Bray graduated from Branford in 1999.
