Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) is a real-time television rating points (TRP) measurement system in India.[1] It is a non-profit body of the Indian Broadcasting Foundation, Association of Advertising Agencies of India and Indian Society of Advertisers.[1]

With the viewership habits of over 153.5 million TV households being analysed by BARC it is the world’s largest television audience measurement service.[2]
