BrokeNCYDE was the brainchild of the lead singers Se7en and Mikl. They had been friends in high school, and after discussing relationship problems with each other, decided to start a band. According to them, the etymology of their band name comes from the idea of being "broken inside", hence ''brokeNCYDE''. From there, they began to write more lyrics and songs and promote themselves online. Later, the other two members, under the pseudonyms "Phat J" and "Antz", joined the band. |
