Piraat is a Belgian pale ale,[2] containing 10.5% alcohol. It is hoppy,[3] and is described as "powerful" with "lots of subtle flavors."

The founders of BeerAdvocate rate it "A."[4] The Beer Lover's Rating Guide gives it 4 out of 5.[5] Piraat ABV is 10.5%.
