Bruce Berenyi (born August 21, 1954) is a former professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues as a starting pitcher from 1980-1986. Berenyi was fourth in the voting for the National League Rookie of the Year in 1981 after gaining a 9-6 record.[1] The award was won by Fernando Valenzuela.
Berenyi recorded four strikeouts in one inning, made possible by a dropped third strike.
