Burkatów [burˈkatuf] (Template:Lang-de) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Świdnica, within Świdnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.

It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Świdnica, and 55 kilometres (34 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław. The Battle of Burkersdorf was fought on July 21, 1762 during the Seven Years' War.
