Burkholderia diazotrophica is a gram-negative, catalase and oxidase-positive, aerobic, non-spore-forming, motile bacterium from the genus of Burkholderia and the family of Burkholderiaceae[3] which was isolated from the nitrogen-fixing nodules on the roots of a Mimosa.[4] Colonis of Burkholderia diazotrophica are yellow pigmented.[5]
