Burkholderia zhejiangensis is a Gram-negative, nonspore-forming, rod-shaped bacterium from the genus Burkholderia, which was isolated from a wastewater treatment system in China.[3][4][5] Burkholderia zhejiangensis has the ability to degrade methyl parathion.[6]
