The Buru dwarf kingfisher (Ceyx cajeli), is a species of bird in the family Alcedinidae that is endemic to the Buru Island in Indonesia. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It was formerly considered to be a subspecies of the variable dwarf kingfisher.
