Business & Information Systems Engineering is the cover-to-cover English translation of the German journal Wirtschaftsinformatik (ISSN 0937-6429). The journal was established in 1959, the English translation has been published since 2009. It publishes original articles that report research results and business practice findings that can be applied more broadly. Articles cover the areas of information management, computer science, business administration, and economics, new media, and operations research.
