Bystra [ˈbɨstra] is a village in Sucha County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Bystra-Sidzina.[1] It lies approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) south-east of Sucha Beskidzka and 50 km (31 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.

The village has a population of 2,900.
