CPX Interactive (sometimes referred to simply as CPXi) is a digital media holding company based in New York.[1] In 2014 it was listed on Forbes' list of America's Most Promising Companies.[3] The company maintains additional offices in New Orleans, Chicago, and Santa Monica.[4] It consists of three companies that include Consumed Media, Hatched.at, and AdReady.

History

CPXi was founded in 2000.[2] In 2013 it purchased AdReady, a Seattle based online advertising company.[5] CPXi raised no outside capital until its first funding round of $30 million in 2014.[2] In September 2014, CPXi launched a publishing division consisting of two websites, PressRoomVIP and Hip Hop My Way.[6]

CPXi Venture Tech Challenge

CPXi partners with Hofstra University for an annual $100,000 student business-plan contest.[7] The contest began in 2013 and awards $50,000 as the top prize, $20,000 to the runner-up, and $10,000 to three others.[7]
