Cadbury Athletic F.C. is an amateur football club based in Birmingham, England, and affiliated with the Cadbury confectionery company. The club currently plays in the Midland League Division Two.

History

Cadbury Athletic was formed in 1994 and immediately gained entry to the Midland Combination Division Three. The club is affiliated with the Cadbury factory based in Bournville, using the company's logo as its badge and even playing in Cadbury's corporate colours of purple and white. After resigning from the Premier Division after the 2011–2012 season the club decided to go back to its roots and now play back at the Recreation ground close to the Cadbury factory. Cadbury finished ninth in their first season in Division Three but were nonetheless promoted to Division Two. In 2000–01 they were promoted to Division One and then in 2004–05 gained promotion to the Premier Division, where they remained until 2012 when they resigned from the Premier Division due to a difficulty with their ground rental agreement with Alvechurch. In the 2006–07 season they entered the FA Vase for the first time, followed a year later by their debut in the FA Cup. Cadbury Athletic also run a Reserve Team which play in the Midland Combination Reserve League Division 2 and have recently started an Over 35's side which play in the Central Warwickshire Over 35's league
