Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd, born 1934 Swedish artist studied with Fernand Léger in Paris 1951. Professor of painting at The Academy of Fine Arts Stockholm 1965 - 1969. 1974 guest professor Minneapolis School of Art.

Reuterswärd is known for his sculpture showing a revolver tied in a knot (Non violence) on display outside United Nations headquarters in New York. The same work is also in Berlin, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Caen and Kirchberg.
