Carpophilus is a genus of sap beetles. They are agricultural pests that cause feeding damage to a variety of fruits worldwide.[1] The genus contains a great number of species.[2]

  • Urophorus humeralis (Fabricius, 1798); formerly placed in the genus Carpophilus, this species can be differentiated by having three abdominal tergites rather than two.[3]
