Management
The Headteacher is Anne Marie McNair who was previously an assistant head at nearby Stonelaw High School. She is assisted by her Depute Headteachers Mr Doig, Mrs Leevy, Mrs Gebbie, Mr Taylor

Notable former pupils and teachers
Also a former pupil of Cathkin High school Duncan Weir, who now plays professional rugby for the Glasgow Warriors.
Also Professional Footballer Kenny McLean attended Cathkin High, he now plays for Scottish Premier League team St Mirren.
Geography teacher, Mr Kerr Thomson, is an up-and-coming author of The Sound Of Whales Published by Chicken House .
