Background

He got hooked on acting as an undergraduate at Cambridge University playing roles like Othello, Benvolio and Siddhartha. He played Abanaza in musical pantomime for the Cambridge University Light Entertainment Society CULES with Prince Edward at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Television and film

Mr Vadaketh acted on Singapore television as Sabo Singh in popular sitcom Mr. Kiasu which was nominated for best comedy in the Asian Television Awards, he has guested on series like Growing Up, Living With Lydia and The Others. He was in 20th Century Fox’s Entrapment

He did theatre roles in Kuala Lumpur include King Arthur (Camelot), Capulet (Romeo & Juliet), Nehru (Sindhu-A tribute to Nehru), Director/Co-Producer/Singer (The Piano Bar Shows), Assistant Director (Savages), Multiple Roles (Five Fantastical Tales from Asia), and Instant Café Theatre Revues.

In 2015, Vahaketh appeared in the one act play Love Journey – A Nation Of Two which was a love story.[1]
