Channa stewartii is a species of the genus Channa under Channidae family which is native to Nepal and Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura.[1] It may also be found in Bangladesh.[2] This fish is mostly found in the freshwater hill streams.[3] It is of little food value but common in the aquarium trade.[4]
