Charles Edwin (c. 1699 – 29 June 1756),[1] was a Welsh politician.

He was the oldest son of Samuel Edwin MP of Llanmihangel Plas, and grandson of Sir Humphrey Edwin, who was Lord Mayor of London in 1698. His mother was Lady Catherine Montagu, daughter of the 3rd Earl of Manchester.[2]

He was Sheriff of Northamptonshire from 1739 to 1740.[2][3]

He was a Member of Parliament (MP) for Westminster from 1741 to 1747, and for Glamorgan from 1747 to 1756.[2]
