Chess Informant Expert and Chess Informant Reader are software designed to access electronic editions of Chess Informant publications. These lack the comprehensive features and functionality of such products as ChessBase and Chess Assistant, but serve well as Portable Game Notation and proprietary format database programs. Chess Informant Expert facilitates the creation of Chess Informant style articles, and provides the means for submitting these articles to the editors for consideration.
