The chestnut-bellied fantail (Rhipidura hyperythra) is a species of bird in the Rhipiduridae family. It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
